I would like to go, but it's tough getting time off work; and my daughter just moved to Salt Lake City, which is a direct, under 2 hour flight for me. I've never skied in Utah, so I have a couple trips there planned.

It is so easy to get onto the slopes outside of SLC from where we live, it should be a crime.

I’m not gonna put a list on here but I really want to ski the USA classics that I haven’t yet. Those would be imho Aspen, Sun Valley, Big Sky and Taos.

I guess for a lot of people Vail and Park City might be on the classics list but they’re too expensive for the product to attract my interest.

The classics for me,

Telluride
Jackson
Crested Butte
Alta
Snowbird
Arapaho Basin
Squaw Valley
Mad River Glen
Stowe
Aspen
Taos
Sun Valley
Big Sky

Wow... 19 new places in 3 years... and a very eclectic list to boot! I thought I did a fair amount of travelling to ski... but nothing like that.

Bucket list seems like too strong a term, but I'd like to try more spots. Top of mind are those within daytrip range, even if pushing... Whitewater, Salmo, Loup Loup, Badger Mountain, Echo Valley, Sitzmark, Snoqualmie Summit/Alpental, Spout Springs (if it ever reopens... though I suppose that qualification holds for all the others, too), Cottonwood Butte, Snowhaven, Bald Mountain, Turner Mountain, and Montana Snowbowl. That's a lot more exploring I have to do without even having to spend the night away! Lots more farther afield would be fun... probably my top fantasy pick would be doing the lakes crossing between Argentina & Chile and skiing some of the resorts around there.

I've skied 43 areas so far, and enjoyed them all!

Arizona Snowbowl

British Columbia
Red Mountain

California (& Nevada)

Since I have been skiing over 50 years, my list is long. I won't bore you. But a couple things that might be of interest.
I can think of 3 areas I skied that no longer exist: Craigmeur and Snow Bowl in NJ and Snow Valley in VT.
I can also think of a couple of areas that have changed names: Great Gorge and Vernon Valley in NJ are now merged and called Mountain Creek. I skied Park City West and also when it was called Wolf Mountain before it was hugely expanded and became the Canyons.
