Yosemite entrance closed from rock slide

It's only one of the three entrances from the West "and the gateway for about a third of the park's visitors who enter from the foothills above the Central Valley." It does make it very inconvenient for most of the employees who don't live in the Park and now have a two to three times longer drive to work.

@Tony I've lost track of how much snow is covering some of the passes into Yosemite.
There was a video by CalTrans of Tioga Pass snow clearing that won't be done for a bit.

Just found this interesting video.

My local paper has a story today about snow removal on Tioga that says "The only road through Yosemite, Highway 120, remained closed this week as crews dig out from snows that topped 20 feet and drifted well over 50 feet." My prediction of it opening on one of the last two Fridays in June (6/23 or 6/30) may not be met.
