My vote is for Chicago. I lived there for 4 years. I love Chicago. Best city in the midwest. Followed closely by Minneapolis. Rest aren't even close.

I've been to Cleveland. I was given a police escort to go from the Cleveland Clinic guesthouse to the Hospital itself because it was still nighttime. Its across the street. And the RR HOF isn't as cool as it should be either. And I'm a Warriors fan.

To be fair....

I love Chicago too. Lived there for 4 years. I was advised regularly to call for a police escort when walking home late at night after studying or working. And I was glad I did. Chicago is just as scary in parts.

I can't find the exact line right now, but Rocky Bleier (70's era Pittsburgh Steelers RB) said something along the lines of:
"When I first got drafted and moved to Pittsburgh, I wondered what I had done in a former life to deserve such a fate. First game I dressed for was in Cleveland.. after that, I enjoyed Pittsburgh".

I grew up in Pennsylvania (other side of the state from Pittsburgh), but still... I knew that Pittsburgh in the 70's wasn't very high on anybody's "ideal places to live" list. I'm assuming (never been to Cleveland) that it was even worse at the time.
