After seeing Nolan Kasper's retirement announcement, via Instagram, today, I realized that I had intended to post this link and forgot to:

There is always an upswing in retirements following Olympic years. I suspect that there will be quite a few more on the way as athletes sort through where they stand with national teams, support, sponsorship contracts and funding. There is a point at which hanging in, depending on your situation can be very expensive.

Best of luck to them all, with their futures!

Meant to add that both Dave Chodounsky and Andrew Weibrecht have retired. Bunch of reasons.

They were in SLC this past week for a retiring athlete thing. Others were not.

Going to be a pretty young mens team. Very much so on the tech side.
