You seem to have football confused with Formula 1

Well done. Now let's see if the men who are paid four times as much win or lose tonight.

    Woohoo!
Got to hand it to Rapinoe, she's not in top form but with pk's she's solid. Glad they didn't go into that defensive posture garbage the last 10 min.

    Nice goal by Lavelle.

    Good on those gals!~

Here is a comment from someone "from another nation" as to why the US gals are just that good. In jest, be assured.

"'murrican women spend their whole life, cradle to grave, kicking or otherwise busting balls for fun, vengeance, sport, profit, or just practice for future wars, one way or the other."

    ;-)

Crystal Dunn needs some major props ... she shut down some lethal players during the knockout rounds. And I think she is normally a forward! (Although O'Hara used to be a forward, too, pretty sure. A common switcheroo.)

I don’t think Holland was that far away. The (ridicously incorrect inmo) PK changed the game. Completely. Previosly the USA had lots of trouble with the physically strong yet technical Dutchesses and that PK forced NL to change their tactics. Tony was very happy (ass US coach who used to coach my home team Hammarby). But referees are part of the equation.
