Saw this guy on the golf course today... he must be used to golfers as he was just hanging out within about 30 feet as we hit our shots.

This is (was) the King of Carson City. Quite the specimen. He hung around town for years. He was unfortunately found dead in someone's yard the other morning. They will be doing a necropsy to determine COD. (NOT MY PHOTO)

Someone in the heron family. Taken today while kayaking on the Concord River in Massachusetts.

The necropsy was done and the old guy died of natural causes. He was at least 11 years old. As he lost his antler velvet he apparently bled a lot. I don't know that that is COD but it certainly didn't help.
