Why not universal plates

This has been touched on in the demo binding portability discussions. I just spent all of 4 minutes sliding some bindings on jr race skis. My Attack afd is almost the same height. Life would be so simple with a universal plate design. In the other thread, @Slim could move his bindings forward and back to his heart’s content. We could go from park center to traditional center - in 4 minutes. Want to test out your buddy’s skis? That will take four clicks and a din and maybe afd check.
