Anyone ski Beartooth before? It's scheduled to be open every day in June, weather dependent. Anyone know the rough odds of weather closures?

I will be in the region for work and may come out a day early to ski Monday June 3. I'm sure it would be fun but its quite a ways out of my way and I'm trying to figure out if it's worth a trip

Is the road open yet? Daughter was planning to go this weekend, but told me it wasn't a couple days back and they are coming here instead for biking. (Hadn't planned on visitors!! Aagh!)

The road was open from Red Lodge to the Montana/Wyoming state line, so the Basin is not yet open (although from what I hear, they are ready to operate as soon as the NPS can manage to plow the rest of the road). The area pictured above (Rock Creek Headwall) is accessible from the state-line parking lot, but a lot of the other skiing isn't easy to get to until the whole pass is open.

Official road-stauts pages:

(hmm, looks like the Montana side has closed again due to more snow)

(Wyoming still showing "Closed Due to Seasonal Closure"; be advised that the listing may simply disappear when it opens, rather than showing any "open" detail, as it is maintained by NPS Yellowstone and not by WyoDOT).
