My daughter and I are planning a trip in 2019. I’ve been to Whistler a couple of times, but I’m a skier and haven’t really paid attention to where snowboarders are having trouble moving along. I’m trying to think of places to avoid where she could end up having to skate along on her snowboard, or worse yet, I have to pull her along.

I thought of a couple of places, but would like your input if these are actually problem areas, or other areas I’m not thinking of.
1) The runout at the bottom of Blackcomb Glacier.
2) Burnt Stew Trail between Symphony and Harmony.
3) 7th Avenue

Those sound right, especially the bottom of the glacier... though I seem to remember 7th avenue being fine (i.e. enough pitch that it shouldn't be a problem).

The others I can think of are Crystal Glide, getting over to the Crystal chair... and a couple of cat tracks that cut across other areas - one in the middle of Symphony and one in the Excelerator area.

generally enough speed will clear most areas but in addition to the above avoid.

Whistler
lower highway 86 to Red
mid station to Garbonzo
base of Sun Bowl to Harmony
base of Harmony to base of Emerald

Blackcomb
cat tracks in general
the lower cat track off top of Solar Coast over to 7th
and 7th to Solar via Sunset Boulevard
