I was watching CBS This Morning, this morning and was fascinated to see the segment about Faroe Islands.
I could explain, but instead, just watch this segment.
Then go to this link and take a tour.

A relative here of one of our best friends in town had his trip all set this summer to the Faroe Islands. Closed now due to the virus.
The Faroe Islands are accessed thru Denmark which owns them or Iceland.

Of coures having 187 COVID cases there is a bummer.

Very Very remote place in North Atlantic halfway between Iceland & Norway !

Can't quite figure out the tour. Says next one is in 2 days.

This link to CBS this Morning (after ad's) is useful for quick view.

That’s out there. Were there any trees? You’ve got to go pretty far up Norway then take a left out into the Atlantic and go a long way.
The salmon is good though. But you can get that in Norway.
