If I was to theoretically leave a pair of skis in the car, it would have been my 185 Nordica Enforcer 100s. They would handle just about everything and I would have fun doing it.
hmm, I guess it's time to make pylon for the vehicle or strengthen the roof rack. I would totally do this with my kids. Not sure why we haven't. My previous house had a 900' driveway. We would ski behind the truck up and down the driveway hill. Speed was goal at times too.As a waterskier, a car ski is a ski for behind the car. Like on a rope in the parking lot. Around the world where you loop the car while they do a brodie the opposite way. To be honest, I've never done that on snow but it's a standard show ski maneuver on water. Probably really stupid on snow skis behind a car. Why do I want car skis?

Mine used to be the Enforcers, but now it might be the Brahmas...until @Ron sells me his Stockli Laser AXsIf I was to theoretically leave a pair of skis in the car, it would have been my 185 Nordica Enforcer 100s. They would handle just about everything and I would have fun doing it.
Why would I leave skis in the car, when I walk out the door to ski?
My whole reaction is, god forbid I would ever leave my skis in the car! Shudder!
This was mine last season. We'll see what this winter brings. I might have two sets of car skis.My Head Great Joys of course.
I do it because warm skis are slow skis; and they'd get stolen if I left them next to the door.

And the difference between this and a 'daily driver' would be?.
