If golf is anything by which to judge this trend, we will soon have many many threads arguing about which "virtual instructor" is best, what the hell the numbers mean. and whether or not the damned thing is relevant "to the actual movements" in skiing. Then instructors will start getting lesson requests from skiers who need guidance on how to change "their numbers" and improve their skiing. There will be "calls to return to the roots of skiing" with videos of Killy and old film of Dick Durrance. Name calling will now include "Luddite" as part of a new skiing technical glossary.

Fun times.

But is there enough anger and angst in that thread ? You know, accusing someone of riding a monoski in flannel lined farmer overalls. Topped by a neon trucker hat with a brass buckle adjuster. That sort of thing.
