Not brand new news, but didn’t see any discussion here {apologize if there is.}

The women were scheduled to race a DH, SG and combined about 10 days from now in Val D’Isere, a traditional stop. Cancelled. Snow, long term forecast, warm temps, etc. FIS has to pull the plug. They have not confirmed a replacement event.

Also a favorite of LV’s with many wins there. Wonder if we’ll see any comments from her.

Women are in St. Moritz this weekend. SG and a parallel SL. Two more GS/SL stops late December; Courchevel and Semmering. Then the City Event in Oslo in New Years.

We’ll see who healthy, who has made some gains, etc.

That's pretty surprising, as the French Alps could very well get a big dump -- as in 100 cm total, maybe more -- this weekend. But has been bare/warm, with snow line up to around 1900/2000 m depending on where you are, so course prep is probably hit or miss for 10 days from now.

It's way too much stuff involved into organizing World cup stop, so if they get snow dump this weekend, it's too late to get everything ready. Not to mention it's problem also for teams and everyone else involved to get everything organized/cancel on so short notice. That's why FIS has rule or "rule" (not sure if it's official thing though) that snow control is week before race and if it's not ready it's pretty much canceled. But it was surprise also for me, that it was canceled so early, as it was canceled almost 2 weeks before the race.

LV mentioned on FB it was cancelled. Right now she is in full force Instagram working out, not that she has been cleared for harder workouts. :)

Just got mail races are moved to Val Gardena for 17 and 18.12. Will be interesting to see how they will run the course on Saslong, as I'm pretty sure Camel jumps and Ciaslat will need to be way different then they are on men tour :)
I am also intrigued on course set ....
