Voile & their ambassador Brooke Jackson announced 2 need-based gear scholarships for women (one for a full ski or splitboard setup, except boots; the other for a $700 credit towards skis).
If you know of anyone jonesing to get on skis (backcountry specifically or just in general) feel free to pass the word along!
I'm so here for this trend, as Voile joins Ikon, Tecnica, K2 (through their SheJumps Snowpack Scholarship sponsorship), and Girls Do Ski with need-based giveaways. There's a lot of free stuff given away for promotional purposes to grow social media followings, increase ski movie attendance, gain review coverage - some of which goes straight to Craigslist at discount prices. It's nice to see brands putting some leg work in to connect with customers who can really put their gear to good use.
