So for those of you using fiberlene...how the heck does that remove wax? Seems like way too soft a material.
Short version without running to other threads.

You use it between the iron and the wax. So you're warming the wax to liquid, which is absorbed into the Fiberlene. Unlike using a paper towel, which has fibers to be pulled out, the Fiberlene doesn't shed, yet absorbs. Leaving less wax on the ski to be scraped later after it cools.

It's a little spendy, and I could probably make something similar on my own. Still, it looks small enough to take in luggage, and way smaller than some of the things my friends bring on road trips.
