Eligibility: Active Duty, National Guard, Reservist, Veteran, Family members, and Gold Star Families and their Families with military ID or other identification

I have a post on Combining your Epic Military Pass with the Not Forgotten Outreach Ski Week.

I had written this post in hopes that there are some Families with Epic Military Passes that are not in the New Mexico Colorado area that might see some value in making a trip out west that gives them an opportunity to ski Taos at a great price!

If there is anyone willing to carpool or share rides from Albuquerque up to the I70 area let me know. If there are any Vets going through Albuquerque going north let me know and I'll buy you a beer. If you're a Jarhead - I'll buy dinner!

I am a veteran with the designation on my Washington drivers license. For the free train fare will my drivers license work even though they state valid New Mexico drivers license with veteran on it? Also will my wife get the free fare as a dependent? Thanks for the answers.

Its funny... Phil and I work a couple days a week at a local ski shop. We have a 20% discount for military (retired or active). I don't often ask for proof because I can tell. First they say "Yes ma'am" and they also have a distinct way of carrying themselves. I may be a little off on this, but if I say, "Are you aware we have a military discount?" they respond with a positive reaction and can provide some form of id or an address that reflects active duty.
