California/Nevada Very cool history of Mt. Rose/Slide Mountain

I used to work for Washoe County Parks and a friend sent me this video. It's really a neat look into the history of our "local" Reno mountain(s). If you go up to Mt. Rose from Reno you'll pass by Galena Creek Regional Park. If you've been around long enough you may remember the sledding hill that was operated by the department until budget cuts reduced staffing to the point that it could no longer be operated.
