Vermonters Eligible for State Grants to Masterfit University Bootfit Training
Masterfit University ski and snowboard boot fit training courses. Grants vary from complete tuition coverage to a portion of the fee.
VSAC’s grant program is open to all Vermont residents and grants are based on financial need and other criteria. To begin the non-degree grant application process click here.
“This is a great opportunity for current Vermont bootfitters to better their skills as well as those aspiring to begin learning the craft bootfitting and start a career in the business,” said Masterfit U president Steve Cohen.
While grants are made to individuals, retailers with Vermont resident employees can take advantage of the program by encouraging employees to apply for grants and by providing on-the-clock time for filling out applications. It’s a small investment for potentially big tuition savings.
Because Masterfit is pre-qualified as a VSAC education provider, the grant consideration process is streamlined. According to VSAC, applicants should receive notification of grant qualification within 3 weeks.
However, grant applicants are encouraged to act quickly since there is a limited amount of program funds available.
Masterfit U’s Mt. Snow sessions are scheduled for October 3-4 this fall but Vermont grant recipients may attend ANY Masterfit U in the United States. Click here for a complete schedule and information on Masterfit U.
