California/Nevada TR - Mount Sputnik, NV on 1/22/17

This would be the fourth time that I skied Mount Sputnik (our front yard.) I previously skied here in 2002, 2005 and 2008. On this day I did two runs on "The Driveway" and one run on the "Sagebrush Glade."

Penny encourages me to head up for another run.

After three runs I headed up to "The Lodge" for a buckwheat pancake brunch.

Fortunately I didn't hit anything.
Yes, I used rock skis. However, I believe that all skis become rock skis as soon as bindings are mounted on them.

The lift system 5ux0r...

No high speed quads here. However, there are no lifts lines and no crowds. Also, the lodge is mid-mountain which allows for immediate skiing without having to ride a lift.
