Just going by the pictures posted, maybe they just needed the dirt to build up the parking lot area. Doesn’t look like they’ve cleared all that much other than building roads. They went around a lot of trees.

When i was there a month ago they had taken the trees almost to the property line of the first house in Winterset where you see all the grading. I'm sure that home owner isn't thrilled. Heading up tomorrow night, i'll see first hand
