Kudos to CVR for doing that, it spreads good will for the valley to those affected even if it does enable questionable behavior/judgement over yonder.
This morning when they fired up the bunny lift at timberline, the last working lift, it broke down. The closed the resort down shortly after and announced they would open up again on wed. after they do lift "maintenance". There was a crew in a bucket truck this afternoon working on the wheels on the towers of the bunny lift.
OMG this is getting painful. where or where is that recapitalization ? this is more like recapitulation.
Does anyone know how difficult it to replace a bearing on a bullwheel? Does the resort have the bandwidth to complete such a repair? From viewing this video, it looks like a massive undertaking:
Most resorts would do this during warm weather but the TLines management believes it's staff can accomplish this much more efficiently during sub-zero weather. No need for dry ice to shrink the shaft in order to slip the bearings on!Does anyone know how difficult it to replace a bearing on a bullwheel? How flat is a trail that one can drive a bucket truck on it to access the tower wheels? In winter no less. There was a crew in a bucket truck this afternoon working on the wheels on the towers of the bunny lift.

I count my lucky stars, I have ridden the triple at Tline many times before it failed.
The last being two days before it dropped people to the ground.
I totally forgot about that. So glad you did not get injured other than mentally.
