Looks like good coverage.
Glad you got some!!
How were the health practices received by the skiers?

Very well received. Every skier had to be motivated to be online 1st thing to get a reservation. All were wearing masks, parking in spaced-out marked areas, avoiding lodge, riding mostly solo on lift.

I was notified by Ligety race camp they will be operating this Summer. Link to Hood race camps.

Thanks so much. I will check that out.

There are camps to attend. However with Whistler, Breck and CA closed, Timberline will be the stand-a-lone in North America. The litmus test.

Of the camps that I have looked into, refund policies seem rather vague, given the uncertain nature of closures. Of course, if I booked, If Timberline pulled the plug or the health department hit the big red STOP button on their desk, my cedit card company would make sure that I don't get dinged.

I have a reservation for Timberline tomorrow, Friday May 22. It's snowing today and tonight and for part of tomorrow.

They've improved the reservation system, you can now enter up to 5 people in one reservation. They also moved the reservation window from 0900 to 1400 (2pm) -- for what reason, I'm not sure.

All reservations were assigned today from 2pm to 2:10 , so you really do need to fill in the form quickly and submit right at 2pm.

There is supposed to be fresh snow too!

Spectacular day 54 with 20f & 20mph for a brisk sunny day. 6" of new low moisture content snow. The edge hold is inspiring on fis skis.Thank you Phil for the tech help on the Rossis.

Timberline today (Fri May 22) was a very different experience than last week. Only one lift open Stormin' Norman (Stormin' Mormon). The parking lot was more densely packed (so I think they allowed more reservations). No "Checkpoint Charlie", instead you took your reservation copy to the outside ticket window and got a pass (long line for this). The snow was excellent. The lift line was LONG (up to 25 minutes). I haven't waited in that long a line all season. It really put a damper on the day.

If that's the way it's going to be, I'll pass on it and look forward to next season.

I (red jacket) was skiing with my son (blue jacket).
