I've known @Philpug and @Tricia for a few years now, only virtually. Today I had the honor of meeting them in Marquette, MI. Felt like we knew each other forever.

Way to go on this Pugski journey and thank you for letting me help with a few stepping stones.

:rocks: to more face to face meetings. Hopefully next time on snow.

@Dwight I absolutely love your family. Please bring your wife to Tahoe so we can show her more Pug hospitality!

Well, we've been slacking with the updates on the SS Pugski Fall tour.

After our breakfast with @Dwight, we had a final meeting with @Justin Koski at the Hall of Fame to plan the future of the Hall of Fame and Pugski.
Its clear that we are a good fit to work together.

After the departure from Ishpeming, we made the beautiful and often colorful trip across the UP and over the Mighty Mac

While in the Lower Peninsula, visiting family, I took Phil on a couple mountain bike trails from my old stomping grounds.
We rode the VASA trail near Traverse City as well as Cadillac Pathways.
The thing about the Pathways ride that struck me is how much easier it seemed after my time in Tahoe. Either my fitness is better, my riding is better or the acclimation to altitude made me super hero strong at(or near) sea level.
As I noted in my Strava - I stomped my old stomping grounds!

While in Cadillac, we took SS Pugski to his birthplace and chatted with some of the guys at Highpoint Auto. These guys were always fun and friendly.

While we were at my parents house, my dad worked with Phil on a project to modify a boot press for our boot lab.
You can read that story here.

We made our way across the Wyoming and Colorado borders, where the wind nearly blew us away.

We spent a night with @Drahtguy Kevin and his family, but mostly we were happy to see Burt, Steve and Todd.
No pics of the family, but we got pics of Steve snuggling with Todd

After we left Kevin's house, we made our way along a scenic route to spend some time in Steamboat with @Ron

Take the time to enjoy a few random pics of Steamboat in the fall. Colors are starting to come out. IMG_0291.jpeg IMG_0293.jpeg IMG_0294.jpeg IMG_0292.jpeg

I would like to note, Ron and his wife took us out for dinner at Otto Pint. They have some really good personal pizzas on the menu, and offered some great specials.
I opted for this delicious Pizza called the @Ziggy - you know I had to!

In the morning Ron made us his signature Lattes, which I can't get enough of.

How fun! Thanks for this travelogue. It's especially nice to read about all the connections with the Pugski community and see pictures. Safe travels home.
