It could be different. If members participated. The critical mass needed for conversations of merit just never happened.
Most people thought that members didn't participate, even though they were automatically registered, because they didn't want to due to laziness -- or some other lack in their professional character. That could be right.
But I always thought more members would participate if the platform was user-friendly and if participants had anonymity. That could be wrong.
I guess we'll never know. I've certainly encouraged as many fellow instructors as possible to participate, both there and here. Some have. Others haven't. I've come to the conclusion that the older, seasoned instructors I know don't want to get into conversations with strangers about teaching and skiing. They are set in their ways. Rookies might be different, but there are few of those where I teach.
