When we had a crate for each dog Buddy didn’t like his own space so when he thought we might be leaving he would head straight to Sadies crate and wait.
The door being closed wouldn’t stop him either.

Good thing the puppy doesn’t need to know about social distancing - he appears to have boundary issues!

3rd dog is an almost 14 yr old Aussie. She really only cares about sleeping under various windows in warm patches of sunlight. When the puppy approaches her she looks at him with emotionless disdain and he backs away. The Aussie and Mrs JeffB rule the roost in very similar ways.
