just got caught up on the thread @Monique I am so sorry for your loss. reading about your Cooper provided another opportunity to make some Tear Soup (do y'all know this book?) over our Ginger we lost last Feb. R.I.P. Cooper!

generally agree with the early years but I know none of my basenji's at 8 yrs old were equiv to 64 human years ... maybe 44 or worst, 54 at 8 .. but still interesting.

Found an Aussie Shepherd on the Highway today. Posted him in the local facebook page....loaded him up and took him home. Fed and walked. My Aussie girl died 3+- years ago...not lookin' for a dog...but if the owners never show up he stays. Real good young boy. Has rabies tag with vet number so we expect to find owner.
