She'll kill your rats, your squirrels, your moles (but the holes she digs to get them are work to fill in) .....killed 3 possums bigger than her who wandered into her backyard so far this year.

Recue dogs know what homes can be like... and hopefully will never have to experience again.
They will love you for it once they're sure it's real.

Ready for guests tonight or tomorrow? While not a high end wine, it's the format that makes it! Roxy is my quality control, all 20 lbs or 16 inches of her.

Merry Christmas folks!

ps, she is sporting her Steamboat Collar.

Sonora had a bit of an incident late last week (no surgery needed, woohooooo!). Some friends of ours really killed it with the cast signing.

What Happened?? Fracture? Dislocation? Got the Xray?

Ankle dislocation with some ligament damage, but not to the big bundle of ligaments that would require fusion, it seems. We have many x-rays. :) Initial ER visit on Christmas Eve took standard ones, and then we had a followup where the vet took x-rays while doing all kinds of ankle flexing to see what he could see the ligaments doing. She's in a smaller cast now, but still equally bored.

Tough injury and can take a long time to heal -- don't rush the recuperation time.
