Every once in awhile I do a little binge watching of TED Talks. (ted.com)

Today I decided to do some searches on skiers and Olympians and have shared the links below.

Jeremy Bloom - 3x World Champion Moguls, 2x Olympian, 11x World Cup Gold Medalist, NFL player, founder, Wish of a Lifetime founder

Grant Korgan - After sustaining a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed from the waist down, adventurer Grant Korgan - who had never encountered a slope he couldn't ski or a jump he couldn't land on his snowmobile - refused to balk at his new condition because he still had a mission in store. Korgan found the strength to rise from his wheelchair and reclaim his active lifestyle, becoming the first spinal cord-injured athlete to ski 80 miles in Antarctica's South Pole. Author, "Two Feet Back"

When do we get to see a @Tricia and @Philpug TEDxSki segment how they made their passion into their livelihood? What's you story?

I've met Grant Korgan, and Douglas Stoup, the man who guided him to the South Pole, as well as Roy Tuscany (founder of High Fives)
I think I can speak for Phil and myself when I say that we are humbled in the presence of all of these people.

What Roy has accomplished with High Fives Foundation is inspired!

I would love to see a TedX with our very own @dondenver and @Betsy Keyes . THAT is an inspiring story.

Tedx is such a powerful medium for inspirational stories, world change and harmony........... not ski related, but yesterday I got wind of a wonderful story from Germany via Sierra Leone. I watched Mallance Bart-Williams via Tedx Berlin Salon. Look it up on youtube. The title is "Change Your Channel".

I've kinda gone off TED since I saw the prices they wanted for admission at the VPAC in Beaver Creek. I understand it was driven by the inflexibility of the venue but it hardly seemed an index of democratic dissemination of ideas, where e.g. a resort waged employee could easily afford it, more another entertainment for the elite. Guess it's the way of the world like your tickets for the Stones tour etc.
