Sounds like a job for Super Troopers.
Or maybe it was because of Super Troopers.

NEWPORT, VT — Where are some really big pancakes when you need them?

Emergency crews responded to a sticky situation Monday as a barrel of maple syrup had to be cleaned up after falling off a truck on I-91.

Vermont State Police said Interstate 91 North at exit 27 in Newport was closed briefly around 4: 20 p.m. when the sweet stuff fell off a truck. The fire department was called to the scene for a cleanup.

No crash was involved and troopers were able to reopen the highway, but advised drivers to drive slow as traffic poured through the area.

Newport is just south of the Canadian border.
