I had a student with borrowed white SX 82’s.
Were those more upright? There’s no way to adjust forward lean right? They were on the softest flex setting.

I'm not sure if I've seen a 71 before, so dull in color you have to know what you are looking for. Snow Summit, CA 3/11/20.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to snap the pic, there was a husband/wife (couple?) at Rose the other day. He was in SX91's and she was in SX juniors. I beleive i have seen them before and will try to get them at some point. He was on some Rossi 9X skis and quite frankly a pretty darn good skier, he took off from the lift and made some really nice (old school) short turns. He was worthy.

This is a homage to such a venerable boot. What other 25+ year old product is so prevalent on the hill?

What's so great about these boots that people will continue to wear them so long?
They were popular way before I started skiing.
