the much anticipated Gondi is on on-track for its November opening. Towers are in and all equipment is making its way over the pond.

I'm a little suprised @Lift Blog doesn't have anything recent on this... the last posting I could find was from November.

One of these days I need to get to Steamboat... I have a feeling I'd really like it.

Ron - Looks like this is replacing the existing gondi, With up hill capacity a 1000 /hr more ?

Sounds like both bigger cabins and higher speed - that’s quite the upgrade.
It should clear out the morning rush a tad quicker

And patrol probably got tired of patching the heads of gapers like me, who are more used to less Lilliputian dimensions.

@Blue Streak is just used to the life of luxury at Vail where they have attendants escort you to your private Gondi cabin and tuck you in with Alpaca blankets. :).

For those who don't know, the opening to the goodi is low and he has banged his head numerous times.

Standby for digital screens with ads. Live trail maps! Maybe some vlogs or shows. Life will be so much better. No more boring gondola rides! Allow your brain to be sucked out on the way up.
