[Olympic Valley, Calif.] March 6, 2019–
Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows is in the midst of a record-breaking snow season, with plans to operate Squaw Valley until Sunday, July 7, weather and conditions permitting. Squaw Valley will be open Friday through Sunday after Memorial Day on May 27. Alpine Meadows will operate into the month of May, with a schedule dependent on weather, conditions and the construction of the new high-speed chair lift that will replace Hot Wheels. The 2019-20 Ikon Pass is now on sale with benefits that include up to three months of free spring skiing and riding at the resort starting April 8.

Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows has seen 596 inches of snow so far this season, equaling nearly 50 feet, surpassing the resort’s annual average of 450 inches just halfway through the season. With 315 inches falling in February alone, the resort broke its own record for most snowfall in one month, set in January 2017 with 282 inches.

NEW Spring Ticket Trio
New this season, Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows is introducing the Spring Ticket Trio, which includes three all-ages lift tickets good for any three days starting March 8. You can use all three yourself, or share a ticket or two with friends or family members. The Spring Ticket Trio is only available online and saves guests $76 per day on each lift ticket.

Ikon Pass Back on Sale
Coming off its first year, the Ikon Pass is back with new benefits. The 2019-20 Ikon Pass and Ikon Base Pass are now on sale, once again offering passholders access to 38 destinations worldwide, all for the starting price of $649 for the Ikon Base Pass and $949 for the full Ikon Pass. Added benefits include a renewal discount for returning customers, a payment plan option, access to additional child passes and free spring access at some of the top destinations across the country. Hadn't noticed this part. This is an amazing incentive, especially with this seasons conditions, for newcomers to try Ikon for 2019-20.
