A big goal for me is to stop worrying about who's coming up behind me. I ski very predictable lines and never hog the trail so there's always room to get around me. However, I've been hit from behind in the past and I'm still freaked out by it. My goal is to work on not worrying as much about this. If someone's going to hit me there's nothing I can do about it. I'll still pull over if I hear a giant flock behind me but I'm going to work on calm breathing and work on not worry so much about who's behind me and focus more on what I'm doing.

8 more days to book just booked 4 ski days at copper with my beautiful wife. I may not be very strategic with okc ski club days but she said, "I want to go skiing at the end of copper" . I asked if the kids wanted to go. They said " I don't want to miss school" wow I feel like a good dad that is going skiing with his wife. Yay me. 12 more days to goal.

Be safe, remain healthy, stay current & seek new horizons.

I have this same issue. Especially on the run where it happened & where I’ve had close calls.

Gosh...so many goals and so little time.

Of course, my biggest priority is staying healthy so I can continue to ski for another 70 years or so. Other than that...
  • Ski deep powder in November with the CO crew
  • Ski Aspen Highlands with @Bob Barnes
  • Ski Snowmass with @Weems
  • Ski Squaw Valley with @Philpug and @Tricia
  • Ski Jackson Hole with the CO crew
  • Go cat skiing in January to spite all of my friends that will be in Japan at that time
  • Jump off something high and land in something deep
  • Don't break more than 2 or 3 pairs of skis
  • Participate in multiple storm chasing trips to Alta and Snowbird
  • Squander all of the money I save this winter being a ski bum in Alaska in May
  • Make everyday the greatest day of my life

@dean_spirito that's a heck of a list, right on!!

My goal is to hit at least one resort that I have never skied.
Just a few on my list...
  • Steamboat
  • Alta
  • Homewood
  • Targhee
  • Sun Valley

I agree with Dean.
Gosh...so many goals and so little time.
  • Skiing with joy each and every chance I click in.
  • Sharing the above with others, which brings us to
  • Joining the Tuesdays In The Snow gang more regularly.
  • Experiencing World Cup racing at the Birds of Prey
  • Steamboat in December with @Ron
  • Snowmass 50th for $6.50!
  • Ajax/Highlands in January
  • Surviving skiing Taos in February with @KingGrump
  • Having a great time with my Pugski friends in March at the Gathering in Utah
  • Passing Cert 2 in April
  • Hitting at least one other Mountain Collective resort (Telluride and/or Jackson Hole)
  • Exploring my home mountain and discovering the hidden gems
If I can do half of that, it will be a great year!

Some great goals posted! Mine are pretty simple this year. I am still healing up from hip surgery and the other fun stuff that occurs to your body when it’s been compensating so long so I just want to get back to where I was and then improve upon what I was working on.

I want to ski with the gang

Make it to the gathering

Not injure anything else.

- Learn how to turn better
- Aspen/Snowmass in January
- Alta in February
- Convince my boss to allow me to take March off so that margaritamarcia, Feebee dog, and I can drive out west and ski refined (we are too old to bum)
