Now that Reliable Racing quit bringing Brynje into the US, I've been looking for super-vented alternatives. Sure, there's Craft and Castelli and related cycling gear - but it is *not* anywhere nearly open mesh enough to replace Brynje.

So - SIXS? I know they're probably off the radar off anyone here except maybe @Nobody - but there is a chance some of you who've been associated with motocross would have seen it before.

I am most interested in the windpaneled products shown here:
http://www.six2.biz/en/linea/underwear/

but if anyone has experience with their protective gear (some of it seems to be d3O based in a Dainese sort of way) or their socks

http://www.six2.biz/en/prodotto/long-s-sixs-mid-calf-socks/

I'd be glad to hear about it.

Do they come with the 6-pack abs built in?

Product: SIXS TS1

Similar products used:
Pearl Izumi Transfer Lite
Castelli Core
Craft Cool Mesh
Nike Pro Combat

Pros:
Warm, comfortable, luxurious feel - if Nike's fabrics feel clammy, soggy or plasticky to you, you'll love this.
Hem and sleeve light grip panels - this undershirt cannot get untucked
Grip panel material is also stitched in between shirt panels and used to achieve proportioned fit

Cons:
Round seams, not flat stitching
Not as vented as true mesh materials

Who it's for:
- high output exercisers in changing, windy weather

Who it's not for:
- true compression aficionados
- high output exercisers in hot weather
- people who get crosseyed or headachy looking at moire patterns
