Before someone gets their undies in a twist...I know that sun protection is essential. In fact, I wear sun screen every day in a face cream I use and amp it up when I know I'm going to be in the sun for longer periods of time or with more intensity, like ski days that aren't storm days.

Just for fun, show us your goggle tan, and perhaps share your favorite sun screen for your ski adventures.

I'll start with one of me and @Philpug from February 29, 2012.
We both have minor goggle tans but not the best(or is it worst) that we've had.

Actually, I got a little too much sun yesterday riding a bike around the Salt Lake Valley even though I put on some sunblock.

But digging back a little further in family history...here is Vince in April 2009 with a nasty goggle BURN.
goggle burn 2009 vince.jpg

We'd had a great week in Colorado, sunny at first and then an historic storm with 3 feet of snow for our last few days. He got the burn the first part of the week and then had to live with it during the snowy part of the week. I had tried to get him to use my sunscreen, but he was 18 and hadn't heard this yet:

PSA: With my Irish genes and my lifelong love of outdoor activities - I make a lot of trips to the dermatologist. I definitely want to encourage anybody looking at this thread to keep slathering on the sunblock.

These are more goggle burns, than tans.

I looked for a better goggle tan but realize I use too much (just enough?) sun screen. The benefit of that is that people think I'm younger than my brother all the time yet he is 5 years younger and presumably used less screen than me.

Here is a windburn for you.

Yes, it was uncomfortable. I only missed covering up for one run on T-Bar I think.

I don't know how much is goggle tan and how much is trick of the light.

@Andy Mink
Its not that his goggle tan is so strong, its that his forehead is so white. :roflmao:

BTW, if you ever stay at a ski condo with Andy Mink and Philpug, you'll experience some pretty good cooking. This is why I needed Weight Watchers.

Oof that is a bad one of me! It must have been a particularly sunny A-basin day, as we are all fried. In fact, iirc that year I actually had a job interview down in Boulder just after that weekend and was trying to figure out how to use makeup to even out the ridiculous goggle tan.
