Always wanted to ski a pair of Haute Routs but never got the chance, great find. I did own a pair of 710's and was not impressed got rid of them quick maybe it was just me that did not like them because they sold a lot of them.

I moved to Jackson in 1987 and everyone at the shop skied on Haute Routes - it held the spot in their quivers as THE powder ski. As they were not being produced, us newbies could only hope to have a pair which ironically happend the next year when we bought all NOS that Rossi found in their warehouse. I bought 2 pairs and still have an unmounted pair of 205's. They were fun skis but the GS skis just seemed to do the job better for the way Jackson was skied.

I was always a GS skier so I never actually bought 710s, but my 810s were awesome!

(Too much work to drag all the skis up outta the basement for a group photo after every new acquisition...)

Why hide them in the basement? Put them out there like you own it! Like here, I could go to a Pier 1 and by a room divider or some crap, instead we have functional alpine decor:)

My retro skis, skateboards, and drums are in the living room... Skis in a corner behind the coat rack. Skateboards taking over quite a bit of wall space.. Drums in the corner where the Christmas tree goes in December. We'll need to discuss that hahahaha...

Mrs. crgildart gets to decide the decor in the rest of the house but living room and yard are mine..

Stuff that is no longer skaible for whatever reason gets to hang out next to the deck out back for BBQs and pool parties..

So lucky! I only get 1 bedroom and the garage. On a side note I am seeing a pattern that is slightly disturbing...

I see you are a Gibson guy.. Fenders tucked away over behind the drum kit. Les Pauls in a easier to access location..

Only good guitar I have is 56 Ramirez student model my dad got in Madrid back in 1956. It stays in the case.

Les Pauls most of the time, but they are all so good to play. I have a much bigger problem collecting guitars than skis. Unfortunately that room wasn't big enough to show more of them off. The Mrs. has moved me to a different room, and I am hoping I will figure out a way to pull out a few more.

From the ski house basement: I used petty much all these except the far left Lange boot, the Lange ski , Old K2 Comp and the white K2 88 GS . Wish I kept my Sideral, K2 Fours, Yamaha Paramount Custom. Graves were my Dad's. Lange Pro with Jet Stix were my brother's.
