So, what's the meaning about seeing someone's doppleganger in the lodge? Not only that but one that has not aged in 35 years. Is it a bad omen or should I just stop going to that ski area?

Brings back lots of old memories, weird experience to say the least.

If I saw a 35-year-younger doppelganger at a ski resort, I'd immediately recollect those 80's après ski nights in the hot springs at Mammoth (mushrooms were involved)...

... then I'd try to see if the guy skis better than me. If he skis as bad as I still do today THEN i'd start to worry.
