The Volkl G3 Vertigos got a fresh waxing yesterday. they were great fun in 2003. We will see if there is any fun left in them.
The old Scarpa Denali boots still click right into the Rossi Axials.
Helmet and sunglasses (don't forget the rain gear for Saturday's weather projection).
I'm good to close out the season, tomorrow (fri.) through Sunday! Wee Haa!

A couple of skin ups will follow after the mountain quiets down, there is lots of snow yet to corn up.

I rode my Vertigo G3’s a couple weeks ago at Mt. Baldy! Despite them having been really beaten up over a decade & a half, they still had some fun and turns left in them. They were actually way more fun & stable than I expected. It was a good thing I did take them too & not the enforcers, because a rock acted like a can opener on the Ptex and ripped up a several inch chunk.

Hopefully you will get a chance to do some pond skimming in your retro gear.

Wow, when did shape skis start qualifying as retro? Man I'm getting old!

Retro. Sure. Anything formerly in style is retro. ;)

What that setup isn't, yet, is vintage. Come back in 10 or 20 years. ogsmile

OK, Lots of fun left in 'em!

But they sure ski differently than the RTM 84s I call my Daily Drivers.

Slush, slush bumps, edge-able ice, morning crust. It was all good fun!

Oh and those rocks that "nearly" got lofted...? notta worry mate...

These skis are OLD! ;-)

I'm just trying to keep them from breeding while leaned in the corner.
