I'm not certain, but I believe this article might be partially incorrect. I have not read the investor filings, but I believe Cap1 LLC has only been given a convertible stock option, and loaned peak resorts 50mil @ 6.9% - presumably as collateral on the loan. Been meaning to ask someone with knowledge in this topic on this question.

Kinda weird that this story only came out recently after some recent national news about Purdue, being that this happened in November. All of the articles seemed to base their info off a similar AP data feed.
