I think this race brings out everyone's " not happy" face. It is so HARD! I didn't manage to catch the finish on account of needing to get up for work the next day and the way-past-midnight finish in my time zone but I always wonder how useable the pro's bikes are after such a pounding!

Yeah..when things aren't going well they start casting around for something or someone to blame. I think he was just struggling a bit and it exaggerated the bike issue. Psychological stuff is interesting..
