I'm trying to remove the heating element and red sticker from my foot bed in order to replace them due to a mangled cable. The glue is WAY too sticky. No serious damage yet but some of the blue from the foot bed is coming off. The element seems even worse, can't get anything but the very edges off. Any tips to make it easier?

Edit: managed to get both off. Went real slow, rather painful to do.
