Brutally hard to capture on camera - but enlarging a zoom shot sometimes makes a good proxy.
Yes, there is a sheet of water >1in deep on the road.

And isn't this "anti stoke"? And should the title be R#*n to avoid the use of such a dirty 4-letter word?

When/where?

I-395 and Edsall Rd. During the rainstorm, ofc. Hence the curb-high splashes.

And isn't this "anti stoke"?

Most certainly NOT. Notice that the forum name is Video and Photography Stoke.

I am waaay stoked to have given some sense of just how hard it rained :)

If you can do better, please post and do details.

Gully washers, cats & dogs, cow p#ssing on a flat rock. 90-200 inches/yr. Mud puddle jumping was an Olympic sport. I've got web feet!

Clearly the trial should take place in Whistler.
