Put the ski racks on the cars today

A little crisp this morning. The snow is coming, I can feel it. Took the opportunity to put the racks on the cars today. Need to fab up one for the new little AWD shit-box I bought for the wife. My AWD car took a dump, so I'll have to use it if it gets really bad. Or go find a cheap Subaru. Been looking, but haven't found the one for me.

Puttin' on the snow tires will be next, but not for a little while.

I have studiously avoided putting on the Thule box or mounting the Hakkapeliitas.
Ullr becomes displeased, if we put them on too early, and he retreats to Ydalir, plaguing us with Indian summer.
Instead, he prefers that we express our gratitude for his blessings in a ritual of tire change after the first snow.
And he plays golf with Murphy, so I don’t want to piss either of them off,
