Mounting and tuning table, check. Toko's widemouth vice and double vice will be getting a lot of use this season.

New Wintersteiger rolling rack was a score on Facebook market.

The Stallmats as flooring is great.

Bootfitting station will be much more conducive to measuring alignment.

Harbor Freight tool chest was customized (lowered) to roll under the tuning table when not in use.

You going 100% with the liquid waxes?
Not 100%. Per Toko, you still want to do a regular hot was to get the wax into the base, but that is now only every 4-5 times, the rest of the time the Liquid Paraffin will do the job.

Interested to know what you wind up with as polishing protocol - down the road sometime say Jan-Feb.

@Philpug I'm also interested to know more.

Any thoughts of the criteria for when to hot wax and when to use the liquid? I can guess at the start of the season, a hot wax is preferred to totally saturate the bases. I probably don't ski enough, my bases look pretty good after a couple of days on the snow; or maybe I just don't put much wear on my equipment.

Was just visiting Toko site and the express "rub on" applicator seems more appealing to me, compared to the "spray" of the liquid paraffin. Any significant differences between the two products besides method of application?

I can see how the liquid products would make waxing not at home way easier.

It really depends how "into it" you are. A full wax is going to be ar the start of the season and since you are light on your gear as you say, the LP will ge ood for every other time out. By doing this, you skis will run smoother and easier.

The rub on is good but the spray on will give you much more performance verses jus the quick fix of the rub on.

It might have a little surface rust but works great.

Nice!

Due to its age you might want to put a few drops of oil on the bearings. There are usually some small oil ports sometimes with spring loaded covers where you can add 5 or so drops of oil. Or based on the photo you might be able to add oil where the small flat head set screws are, or in that area. Its hard to tell based on the angle of the photo.
