G'day Ron, well, if that's something you wanted to do, I could make that happen. I can price out a 7 day trip for you if you wanted (7 days airport to airport?). Start (in Concepcion) would be on the 10th August and we'd have you back at the airport on the 17th August. If you'd like me to price that together, then let me know.

- Matt

thanks Matt, I am not sure yet but I will let you know if I could make it happen. Much appreciated

Just asking, but what skis, bindings, boots?

and do you use different poles when you use AT gear?
Fischer Ranger 98s (184 cm), Kingpin bindings and Atomic Hawx XTD 130. They aren't my everyday resort ski but they do come out quite often.

Here's a clip that I just edited together, from last season. You can thank my good friend Gordon for the Crocodile Hunter inspired commentary! This is our adventure over to the Volcan Nevados de Chillan where I skied a little parasitic cone (thank you high school geography for being able to remember that!) on the side of the volcano. What you can't see is the scenery from the backside and the views of the higher Andes. It's worth the hike alone, just to see that.....

As I celebrate England making it to the next round of the World Cup, I also celebrate the opening of Nevados de Chillan today. Some of the upper lifts were open today for advanced terrain and more snow is in the forecast. Temps are dropping (speaking to Francisco today he says it's gotten a lot colder in Las Trancas) so season 2018 is well underway. Here's some photos taken from the https://www.facebook.com/nevadosdechillan/ page......

Some new photos of the current storm taken by Francisco J Penafiel today. Thanks amigo! The temps and the snow level has dropped and they are getting good snow; 20cm's so far at the bottom lifts and then a lot more up high. It's forecast to snow all day today, then some fine weather sets in till Wednesday and another big storm on Friday. Keep it coming!

Finally got a view of the upper part of the mountain. Plenty of snow up there...... another big storm coming through on Thursday. Nevados de Chillan does have the highest snowfall average in Chile, seems like it's happening.

Somebody please take that last spot so I can stop trying to figure out how to do a shortened version of the trip which I really shouldn’t do. @Ron I’m looking at you.

I'm still contemplating...... :).

Believe it or not, I don't have a AT setup, I was waiting to get some K2 boots and the new Shifts....

Uh oh...... I did quote Ron not too long ago for a shortened trip...... I can do them, as long as you start at the same time as a regular session begins. I do have room with my group for session 2 (Aug 22nd - Set 1st) if you wanted to go a little later..... Nevaods de Chillan is a great mountain and it's looking like decent snow this year. Would be more than happy to have you onboard with us coskigirl!

G'day Ron, if you need an AT setup then I can potentially help with that. I do have some unused BD Fritschi Vipec bindings I can sell you and I have a pair of Grace Skis (now defunct brand ex-Denver) that are 108mm underfoot, but they are 196cm long (they do have a decent amount of tip rocker though) but might ski slightly shorter. I can throw the skis in for free if you want the bindings? Or I can have a chat with my connection at Salomon and see what they have? I'm due to have a chat with him so would be good timing......
Kind regards,
Matt
