At least 6 of them clung to her sunglasses like stinging for life. Not even banging the glasses against the handlebar would shake them off.

And they do. Fortunately the most aggressive one missed and only got her eyelid. That's now massively swollen and painful, with the pain radiating into the nose and other sinus. The steroid shot seems to have reduced that a bit in the last 3 hours but the pain is unrelenting.

Allow me to paraphrase. "NO!" There were some other choice words preceding that.

No wonder. Those are like giant attack Hornet glasses. Easily mistaken for a 5' Hornet.... :ogbiggrin: seriously though I hope no major damage.
