Some bad ass mother frickin bees..Wiki says they can squirt venom into the eyes of vertebrate intruders......

At least 6 of them clung to her sunglasses like stinging for life. Not even banging the glasses against the handlebar would shake them off.
Wiki says they can squirt venom into the eyes of vertebrate intruders......
And they do. Fortunately the most aggressive one missed and only got her eyelid. That's now massively swollen and painful, with the pain radiating into the nose and other sinus. The steroid shot seems to have reduced that a bit in the last 3 hours but the pain is unrelenting.
Allow me to paraphrase. "NO!" There were some other choice words preceding that.

They went for the ones at top. And I mean went. I had the green ones, my nephew had the gold shiny ones. Same water stop, same soaps, same clothing detergent (in the age of COVID we actually know that
) and we got nothing.
