IMHO, the Yaktrax are some of the best.

The stay on better than the Cat Tracks and are rockered like the Skootys without that nub on the back
Compared to Cat Tracks and Skootys, how easy are these to put on, and how portable are they?

In between the two, not as easy as CatTracks but better than Skootys.

Agreed. The rockered design is very comfortable, but the rubber connecting toe and heel broke after only a few uses. They agreed to replace them, when they receive the defective pair.
In the meantime, I ordered some Cat Tracks, to have a lighter and more compact alternative.
