Well we are awaiting the "massive" predicted snow storm here in New Hampster. Xfinity sent out an e-mail on how to prepare for it. One suggestion caught my eye:

To prepare for the storm download the movies you want. That way you can watch them during a power failure.
All I can say is:

Obviously, every Hampster has his running wheel hooked up to a dynamo and then to his breaker box. Thus when Xfinity loses power they can power up the essential electronics.
