They removed all the plastic produce bags from our local Whole Foods. Now I understand why!
I find rubbing them between my fingers quickly works... or a couple of times I've had a wipe or hand sanitizer handy to wet my fingers a bit.

How do you buy certain produce if they don't have bags? Like, how would I buy several plums? Just pile them loose in my cart?

Yep. Paper bags (which weigh more) and those pressed paper pint baskets. I used try not to buy plastic bags and reused the produce ones instead. Guess that's over.

It really depends. The worst is dog poop bags ... especially on the second bag, when it the static just won't seem to let go. Decisions, decisions.
