Last March, on XC BC skis.
When do you use xc vs. AT backcountry skis? I am asking because I honestly don't know the answer. When I first got back on xc skis, I had (and still do!) trouble balancing on such narrow skis and cannot imagine carrying an overnight pack on top of it.

These were metal-edged touring skis that had ~60mm waist? So it’s wider than what fits in the track at the Nordic center. There weren’t major climbs or descents, and these skis are much lighter than AT for an off-trail traverse. If we were going to climb and ski, we would have been on AT, for sure.

Those were from Japan, which I really enjoyed because the scenery was so different. (And the altitude was so low, not gonna lie.)

This was from a week ago.

Very nice. It would ruin the professionalism of the artwork, but it needs an "annotation" and an arrow that says "that's me"
